The following individuals are considered ex officio members of the Board of Directors. They are invited to and receive notice of all meetings, and are encouraged to provide their input into decisions, policies, and activities of the Board of Directors. The ex officio members of the Board of Directors are as follows: the Sheriff of Cobb County, the Chief of the Cobb County Police Department, the Chief of the Cobb County Fire Department, the Director of the Cobb County Department of Public Safety, the Director of Cobb County 911, the Director of Cobb County Animal Control, the Director of Cobb County EMA, the District Attorney of Cobb County, the Solicitor General of Cobb County, the President of the Cobb County Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the President of the Cobb Professional Firefighters (IAFF) Local 2563.
